Multimedia and Online Journalism course in Hanoi, Vietnam

The Multimedia and Online Journalism course of the International Institute for Journalism (IIJ) of InWEnt Germany holds in Hanoi, Vietnam, November 15 - 26, 2010.

Requirements:

• minimum of five years of professional experience
• strong interest in new media in general and online journalism
• good computer skills
• proficiency in the English language

(Women journalists are particularly encouraged to apply.)

Course contents:

• Basics of internet techniques - browsers, Web 2.0 and search engines
• Analysing news websites: design, usability and interactivity
• Photo editing with Photoshop and producing slideshows
• Podcasting: Producing and publishing audio files
• Blogging and mobile reporting
