East-West Center announces Spring 2014 Jefferson Fellowships

The East-West Center has announced that the Jefferson Fellowships is now accepting applications from interested candidates. The Jefferson Feellows will visit Banda, Aceh for the first time and return to Myanmar to explore "Challenges of Democratic Transition." While in Yangon, the 2014 Jefferson Fellows will also participate in the East-West Center's 4th International Media Conference, which will focus on "Challenges of a Free Press."
 

The study-tour destinations will include Jakarta and Naypyidaw, plus the chance to network with hundreds of journalists from more than 25 countries at the media conference make the 2014 Jefferson Fellowships an especially exciting opportunity.    

Deadline for application is:  November 16, 2013.
